Get HID lighting (High Intensity Discharge) on your bike and get unparalleled night vision along with a look that is unmatched by any crappy "superwhite" halogen bulb.  Today's Luxury cars come equipped with HID as standard equipment.  Now you can have that same luxury on you bike.  We use a Phillips ballast in our kits with either a 4000k or 6000k bulb depending on your preference.  Bring your bike by and we can make custom mounting brackets for most installations.

1999 Yamaha R1 Kit

We opted to use only one bulb and ballast on this bike.  The Yamaha R1 comes equipped with two bulbs, each is an H4 which incorporates a high and low-beam filament in one single bulb.  With this setup both lamps are either high or low at the same time.  But with HID you lose the high-beam option.  For practical reasons it is nice to have the high-beam when taking hard corners at night, and the customer did not want to lose this option.  So we wired the RH lamp with the HID bulb making it exclusively low-beam.  Then we clipped the high-beam prong off the LH bulb and incorporated another relay so that it could be switched on as a high-beam lamp.  This setup is similar to the Ducati-style headlamps.  One side low-beam, the other high-beam.

Ducati HID Kit

We use a Phillips ballast to power our 6000k Utiliton HID kit.  The 6000k bulb is much more colorful than other bulbs creating a uniquely colorful look.  With this kit your Duke will not only draw attention during the day, but at night.  Not only does HID add to the look and value of your bike, but it provides unparalleled night vision.  The Ducati projector places the light perfectly on the road in an even horizon without allowing any light to overspray into the eyes of oncoming traffic.
